1974 R90/6, Black. Major Service (10K) just done. VGC Very close to original as from factory.
This 1974 BMW R90/6 is very clean and very close to Original (as delivered from the factory)The nice aftermarket sidestand is the one change. 1974 was the first year for the BMW 5 speed transmission, as well as the last year a kick starter was standard. It was also the last year for those cool aluminum turn signals. Runs very good; the bike is in Very Good condition throughout.
We did a Major Service (10K) plus we installed new fork neck bearings, cleaned and inspected and rebuilt the forks, Resealed the motor front to back including the rear main seal, inspected and resealed the transmission, rebuilt the master cylinder, cleaned and inspected the carbs and installed new floats. The seat was recovered. The instruments were cleaned and serviced. New battery. New original braided fuel line.
Tires and other rubber parts are all in very good condition. Exhaust is very good. There are 2 very small dings and a small touched-up scratch just in front of the fuel cap.
