This Beautiful bright yellow BMW R75/5 has been lowered one and a half inches in front, and two inches plus a lowered seat on the rear, to make it more comfortable for a person with a shorter inseam to ride.

A New Pair of custom short Hagon shock was used on the rear, as well as a low profile tire.

The front forks have been rebuilt, and new steering neck bearings & 13 Rib Rubber Gators were installed.

The Instrument Set was cleaned and lubed for Decades of further dependability.

The Carburetors were Rebuilt; new Floats, Needles & Jets, etc.

The Motor Top End was Resealed, and the Rear Main Seal and Oil Pump O'ring replaced. While we were there, we cleaned and inspected the Clutch Assembly and Lubed the Clutch Splines. The clutch was found to be in Good Condition.

The motor was tuned and tested. It is in Very Good Condition and runs very nicely!

We found that the final drive splines were very worn, due to an improper procedure being used previously to service the rear wheel bearings, causing the wheel bearings to be loose in the wheel hub, vastly accelerating the wear of all the parts. We picked out a nice rear hub and installed new splines into it called a "Driving Dog". The final drive was removed and torn down, and a machinist welded up and re-machined like new drive splines on the Cardan gear. All seals were replaced, and the drive re-shimmed to achieve proper gear backlash.

We Bead Blasted the Wheel Hubs, polished a pair of original BMW rims and laced them up with new stainless spokes. New Rear Brake Shoes were installed. New tires were mounted.

During test riding the transmission started to act up. The transmission was replaced with a rebuilt transmission that we serviced ourselves and had in stock.

The bike is equipped with USA handlebars and new Hand Grips, and a Brown type Side Stand. There are a pair of color matched Wixom Saddlebags included. The Seat has had a period correct "Lift Off" kit installed, to make it compatible with the Wixom Saddlebag Mounts, that will interfere seat opening when using stock seat hinges.

A test ride can be arranged. Rider must have a valid Driver's License with Motorcycle Endorsement. Rider must sign a Liability Waver, and wear helmet, jacket, gloves long pants, and hard shoes.
