NOTE: Due to weather, we have not gotten a set of high resolution photos outdoors. We set up an indoor photo area, but are finding numerous bright spots in the photos that are reflections of the overhead Florescent bulbs. The paint on this bike is VERY GOOD throughout! Any white spots are bulb reflections, NOT paint flaws'

NOTE: 01.26.24 Posted on Picturepush.com (See instructions near bottom of page.) We took 2 Videos; One of cold start up and warm up of engine. Second of pulling into the street and running through the gears. Click on the last 2 Thumbnails on left, then click on arrow in center of larger image.

Nineteen-Nighty Five was the last year that the BMW Air Cooled motorcycle was produced. All the decades of Airhead BMW, design, redesign, improvements and perfections are embodied in this beautiful BMW Touring Motorcycle.

BMW designated this last Airhead model ever the “R100RT Classic”, and gave it numerous design details, unique to this year / Model, like the polished hand levers, “Comfort” Dual Touring seat, and a complete quick release Touring Bag / Trunk package on Gloss Black Tubular mounts, to make it really stand out!

The paint and chrome is all in exceptionally good condition; especially considering that this BMW is 28 years old.

We received this Beautiful low mileage R100RT BMW with a crack in the fairing upper where the bike was tipped over in a parking lot. The bike was parked, not being ridden at the time.

Luckily, we had a very good NOS upper side panel the same exact color to replace it with. We removed the fairing, changed out the damaged panel, and reinstalled the fairing. While the fairing was off, we went ahead and checked the frame for straight with our BMW Factory Frame Guage.

We started with a BMW Recommended 10,000 Miles Service, which includes changing all fluids, filters, and a grease and lube. New Original Continental Braided Cloth covered fuel lines were installed. Also, the entire bike was inspected in detail, all the needed adjustments made, and all the systems checked for correct function. A Factory recommended Ground Upgrade harness was installed.

The bike had been in dry heated storage for at least 20 years, so the grease in the steering neck bearings was dry & stiff. We tore down the front forks and re-packed the steering bearings, and disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled the front forks with new seals and fork oil. Then we rebuilt the front brake Master cylinder and flushed the system.

We found that the pushrod seals were dry and cracking, so we went ahead and resealed the motor top end, front chain cover, Oil Pan, and rear main seal and oil pump o’ring. The clutch was cleaned and inspected and reassembled with new spline lube.

The fairing is equipped with Clock and a Volt Guage in the dash. It has heated grips, and 4 way hazard lights. There is an Original Factory tool kit for basic bike Maintenance and Adjustments. We mounted and balanced a pair of new Dunlop tires. It will be sold with a new battery.
