This 1984 BMW R100RT is fully loaded and ready to travel. We have just completed a Major Service (10K) on it, and we installed a BMW Ground upgrade kit, rebuilt the front master cylinder, installed new steering neck bearings, tore down and inspected the front fork and dampers, installed new rubber fairing / fork boots, installed new braided cloth covered original fuel line with inline filters, and resealed the motor. The bike is equipped with a new battery, custom seat, Reynolds rack and saddlebag mounts, BMW Touring Cases, Lustmeister Trunk, Nivomat self adjusting shocks, AM/FM/Cassette Radio with Cycle Sound speakers and rear rack mounted antenna, Parabellum Tall windshield system, a clock and volt meter in the dash, front & rear mud flaps, Tool kit, optional rubber tool tray cover, Owner’s Manual, and a Radio Manual
The Mileage is very low for its age; only 36,532. The front brake lines have been upgraded to braided stainless steel. The brake pads and shoes are in good condition. New Avon tires. The exhaust system is in good condition. The paint is solid and shinny, but showing a number of scratches and chips that have been touched-up. There is a trailer light hook-up socket mounted low on the left; at one time there was a trailer hitch, but it had been removed before we got the bike.
